Michael Weston King posts today on Facebook- It’s been a while since we (My Darling Clementine) were last in the studio and in all honesty I had a certain amount of trepidation about returning So, our humble thanks to Steve Nieve, Colin Elliot, Shez Sheridan and Dean Beresford for making the time u...

Re: "Plotting our return, early in the Leap Year"

I think the 1980 tour of the Uk is probably the least well documented of all his UK tours and it's fantastic that we've got at least four people who have witnessed that tour, Goon Squad at Canvey Island , CTB at Southport, Hawksmoor at Colwyn Bay and Offshoreram at Peterborough - in 6 months time y...

Actually he seemed quite decent about it. Of course I will be amazed if he turns up but he didn't dismiss it out of hand.

Re: Relatively Insignificant EC Stuff. . .

Following the Nick Lowe gig on Thursday I had a sleep on the sofa so as not too wake her ladyship when I was woken from my slumber about 3am Friday morning to what I thought was someone singing a bad karaoke version of Oliver's army. When I came fully round it turned out to be 6 music's live hour an...

Standing room only on the first balcony VG. The crowd up there were probably people who didn't want to stand. I forgot to mention Will Birch was in the bar upstairs and he was also had the Bruce Thomas/ Derek Philpott signing a few of us went to. The bar was quite star studded we were sitting beside...

https://twitter.com/meninblazers/status/1034192980456955904?lang=en-gb There are some people out there with worse senses of puns than the members here - especially with a goalkeeper called Allison ( misspelt you see). No doubt EC will be crying into his beer by June 2nd. As a Gooner its the sort of...

Looks like the female fans might outnumber the men for the first time in the meet ups that I have attended.

Mrs Sheep, Paulina, Janice, Clare and Susan are saying they will all attend.

David Hepworth's new book Fabulous Creation about the rise and fall of the Long Player, opens the chapter on 1979 with the intro to accidents will happen. He talks a bit about Armed Forces. Elvis does get a couple of mentions previously in the book too.
