Well, I finally got a reply yesterday morning, posted below: Dear Kathy.... Thank you for your reply regarding a refund for your Elvis Costello.com subscription. Re: Costello "official" website
OK, so has anyone else requested a refund? If so, have you received it yet? And if you did, how did you go about it??? I've sent several emails to the "official" website addy and ~ needless to say ~ have not heard back from them. I also replied directly to the email I received, asking how...

Re: The Politics of Politics: The Ride of a Lifetime
Anyone watch The VP debates? I thought they were really interesting. Palin's "folksy" sayings really grated on me. Doggone it? In a vice-presidential debate? Really? I also thought she danced around the questions way too much. She may look like Tina Fey, but when she speaks she reminds me...

Ever go to a concert with a friend, only to find out that she left the tickets on her kitchen counter, 53 miles away? No, but if it was a good concert, it would be an ex-friend! It's my fear, taking the train to London (55 miles away) and realising at the venue that I've forgotten the ticket...

Not to beat a dead horse, but..... The invisible buttons are now visible. You can now access the profiles of other members, but apparently only if you've "friended" them. (no more "User is under the age of 18" mumbo-jumbo) Posts still can't be seen by the general public, which h...

Re: Elvis does another corporate show, San Fran. Sept. 25th
I watched that video and noticed Elvis was chewing gum and singing. During the one Spectacle taping I noticed this also. I don't recall Elvis chewing and singing before. New habit. Seems hard to do. Why would he do that? Chewing gum is for children, not for adults who are 54 years old! What's wrong...

A friend and I had to go on a 4-hour roadtrip today, so we listened to "The Very Best Of Elvis Costello" ~ all 42 tracks. Sure made the monotonous drive a lot more pleasant, and my friend is fast becoming another ElCo fan.pianoguy123 wrote:I think it was his greatest hits one...

Re: Costello "official" website
So I joined the web site, as you remember because I thought it would help me get tickets to 'The Spectacle'.... WRONG. I got my rejection quick enough. This is the second time I got rejected by Elvis. Got the email about the give away 5:30PM but didn't read it and respond until 9:30PM. The tickets ...

I watched this the other night. Too funny! Elvis seemed jumpier than a long-tailed cat in a roomful of rocking chairs.
And, unfortunately, CarrotTop didn't disappear.

Re: Gas Price Gouging
That's weird. How can they get away with that?!? For whatever reason, gas prices here in northern California haven't been affected either way from Ike. Price per gallon at the corner store dropped down to $3.66 almost a week ago, and that's where it still is.

I just found this while putzing around the site: Click on My Account at the top of the page. Next, under My Account Nav (on the right-hand side of the page), click on Membership Terms. There you will find your membership renewal date, and under that, this: *NOTE: If you do not want your membership/...

Just a question-- when the year's membership is up, does it automatically charge our credit cards for another year UNLESS we "opt out"? Or are they going to ASK us if we want to renew?? Since it's so difficult to get a response from them, I want to make sure I don't end up paying for anot...

I'm one of the two "squeaky wheels" over there (not the cat-- I guess I am the "scary" guy-- although I didn't really think that the photo was particularly strange or frightening...) I don't think it's scary; it just looks like you're warding off the paparazzi. That website has ...
