Elvis/Police, Hollywood Bowl, May 28 (Wed)

Post by Mr. Average »

Looking forward to it with my wife and my daughter.

Anyone else? Love to meet y'all. Banana Cream pies confiscated at the gate, so I got that going for me...

I'm well behaved in public. You'd be shocked.

I won't be the guy shouting "McCain in '08"

c'mon, we all loved them during the 70s, didn´t we!!!!

The two first albums are actually quite good. Listen without prejudice. I would pay mooney to see them, but maybe notn that much....

take care out there and enjoy the shows!!!!

Greetings to you in Japan. Yes, you are right. Elvis, Ozzie, and so many others have made good sport of slamming Gordon and the Police. meanwhile, they genuinely respect what Sting and the Police meant to the movement. You are right.

i love the first three albums, and Syncronicity, save for one or two bombs, was masterful.

Stewart Copeland, man, are you talking to me? This guy is in league with the best. Not Pete, who is in the Keith Moon stratopshere, but, still, his work is chilling. Andy Summers...okay, okay, nothing to write home about, good thing he had the genius of Gordon and Stewart to propel him.

Hi krm. Never have liked The Police but that's mainly due to Sting's ego coming through. You know that old beat-up Fender bass he plays on stage? It's a replica. It's new but he got someone to deliberately put scratches and dings on it and sandpaper it and to corrode it, to make it look as though he's faithfully kept it and worn it out over decades - http://online.wsj.com/article/SB118798577900108191.html
